Laura Guthrie has been writing almost all her life. Her works include poetry, prose fiction, songs and stage scripts.

 

Two of her plays have been produced in Edinburgh, and her play Katiana Was Here is published with Lazy Bee Scripts.

 

Laura's debut novel, Anna, is published with Cranachan Publishing.

 

She has been placed in the Neil Gunn Writing Competition and the Earlyworks Flash Fiction Awards, and is a winner of the Exeter Story Prize.

 

Laura holds a PhD in creative writing from the University of Glasgow.
